others. Just try and think of other

start making contacts, keep a address
book of everyone you meet, who you think
may be able to help you in the future.
Write down any notes about this person.
Things like what they do and their other
contact information. You may never know
when you will need it. Try and get
their business card also if you can.
One of the best ways to develop
rapport is to offer to help this person
if you find out they have certain
projects going on. People usually give
back when they have been helped. But,
do not help them only to gain for
yourself, Be true and honest and things
will come back to you ten fold.

source of information. There are a ton
of books one the subject where you can
learn more ideas about networking.
It's no doubt that networking can
really help in moving along your
career. You have to take the time to
work and develop contacts. Once you do,
treat those contacts like gold and you
will learn what career networking is
really all about.
