find a job online

There are a few ways you can find a job online.  Some are more time saving then others.  Most people just go to a job site and apply for any job they see.

This is not all that bad, although you could be doing more.

One way you could find a job online is using a search engine for help.  Just go to google.com and type in the type of job you want and your location.

Look past just the first few pages also.  You will be surprised at what you can find if you surf past the first 3 pages.

Next you could try looking up certain employers that you want to work for in your area.

Again use a search engine for this.  Just type at the search engine the type of employers and the zip code to the closest major city.

This will give you results for those types of employers.  Just be sure to play around a little with the words you type in.

Different words will yield different results.  Make sure you type in the industry you want to work for.

If you are looking for medical jobs type in at the engine: Medical jobs and your zip code.

As you can see, search engines can be a valuable tool in your job search.  Use it and it will help you back ten fold.

You could also try visiting the websites of the companies you want to work for one by one and fill out their online application.  Although a phone call is recommended for better results.

Just be sure to ask for the hiring manager when you get the company on the phone.  This is the person who will most likely hire you, that's why you want to ask for them.

Don't forget to search for other local job websites at a search engine.  Local job sites are popping up all the time and they may list different jobs you have not seen before.

Another place to look is in news groups.  Job news groups are a pretty good source of job ads.  Most are placed by recruiters but this will give you a great place to find a good recruiter.

Go to google.com and select their good groups and look for job groups.  You can find some that are from you area also.

As you can see, you can really use your computer to find a job online.  Just give it a shot and get to work.

There are plenty or resources for you on the internet for your job search.  You just have to put them into motion.
